Almost a year ago now, Kirbimiroir posted a blog titled "New Boss Battles". I feel like this blog was underappreciated, so I've decided to revive it. Post in the comments new boss battles that you want to see added. You don't have to go into too much detail, but the more, the better.

Make sure your comments follow this format:

Name: Insert the name of your boss here

Appears in: Insert the name of the game your boss comes from

Music: Insert the music that plays when you fight your boss. Ideally with a link to a YouTube video of the music.

Fought by: This isn't required, but imagining that your boss is in Adventure Mode, which characters would fight it? You could simply insert a single character + their companions, or assuming you've thought it out thoroughly, a whole range of characters. The characters also don't need to be from the same series as the boss, but it does make more sense.

Battle: Insert an overview of how the battle with them plays out. This can be as simple or as complicated as you like.

You don't need to add a boss from a series represented in Smash. Heck, you don't even need to add a boss from a video game. Go all out with your ideas. You could even add something you've created yourself if you want to, just make sure that others can understand it.

You can add as much extra information to your boss as you want. It could range from where you fight, why you're fighting it, what story event causes it to appear, or whatever you want. Be creative.

If someone else posts a boss that you like the sound of, don't stay quiet. Respond to them. Tell them what you like about that boss, or better yet, (politely) suggest ideas they could use to make it even better. If someone uses a boss that you wanted to use, don't fret. You're allowed to make your own version. Turn it into a bit of friendly competition to see who can make the best boss. However, the most important rule is to just have fun.

Now that that's out of the way, here are a couple of mine. Yep, they're from Etrian Odyssey, because that's a game series that I really like, and I think deserves to be represented in Smash. Why else would I makes so many movesets for it? (Speaking of which, I've got another moveset around the corner, which I'll post soon).

Name: Etreant

Appears: Etrian Odyssey (Original), Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl

Music: Throne of Creation

Fought by: Highlander (Check out my Highlander moveset), as well as any characters he has with him during his Adventure Mode chapter.

Battle: Etreant is rooted to the spot in the centre of the battlefield. It is an extremely large target, but has a large amount of health to make up for this. Its branches will stab or swing at the player with deadly techniques known as Thousand Nails and Root Cyclone. It also has a rarely used attack called Infernal Drain, which will heal itself slightly if it hits a player. The player will be able to make use of the elevators scattered around the battlefield in order to change playing levels. If there are two players fighting, try positioning them on different levels so to divide Etreant's attention. Etreant also takes more damage from fire based attacks than usual.

Name: M.I.K.E. (Stands for Memetic Installation Keeper Engine)

Appears: Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl

Music: The End of the World

Fought by: Ricky (Check out my Ricky moveset), as well as any characters she has with her during her Adventure Mode chapter.

Battle: M.I.K.E. is a strange boss. You can deal damage to him most of the time, but he will take a very small amount. M.I.K.E. will attack with laser beams which do a medium amount of damage. After a short while, M.I.K.E. will use an EMP, which will stun the player if they are too close. However, being a machine himself, M.I.K.E. will be stunned by the EMP and appear to break down. For the next few seconds, M.I.K.E. will take much more damage from all forms of attacks. However, don't linger too long, as M.I.K.E. will soon get up again, and upon getting up, he will use Delete, which is about as powerful as one of Tabuu's Off-Waves, likely killing the player. As M.I.K.E.'s health drops, he will change up his strategy slightly. Sometimes he will fake out the player upon getting up by not using Delete, only to use it again a few seconds later. He will also sometimes unfold parts of his mainframe, which will flash a certain colour. If it is Red, he will counter all physical attacks directed at him with a ratio of 1.2. If it is Yellow, he will counter all energy attacks directed at him with the same ratio. This fight requires very precise reactions, which is made harder by the fact that it is timed. In a similar fashion to the Meta Ridley fight from Brawl, you will have five minutes in which to fight M.I.K.E. If you fail to defeat M.I.K.E. within this time limit, the entire facility will explode and you will lose.

In any case, have fun.
