We've all done this at some point, right? Make a move set for a character in Smash? Well, I decided I might as well write down mine somewhere so I don't have to constantly remember it to entertain myself. The characters I'm going to add move sets to have a very low chance of getting into Smash, but these are fun to make anyway.

Elite Beat Agents[]

These guys star in a Nintendo DS game of the same name in 2006. I remember playing this OSU-like game at my cousin's house enjoying the music that played in the background. I never finished it because of that damned final level. You don't control the agents, it's a rhythm game so you don't play as anyone. The game goes through a few wacky episodes where the scenario is usually drastic for the episode's protagonist. With the help of the EBAs, the protagonist finds a way to resolve the scenario through the power of music. So really, the only thing the agents do in this game is dance...This sort of makes for an easy move set. The game is also heavily told through a comic-like style so many characters have superhuman abilities, even the agents. Why chose these guys? Well, first of all, they were represented as a trophy in Brawl, and they seem like a fan-favorite for many people. Unfortunately, the game didn't sell all that much so it's one of those gems you'd find lying around the internet. It also means that since they aren't as popular, they have no chance of being in Smash.

Standard Attack:

Forward Tilt:

Up Tilt:

Down Tilt:

Dash Attack:

All these are TBA since I'll have to study their dance moves

Standard Special: A timed button press. Pressing the button makes a Hit Marker appear. Hold down the button and release when the circle hits the Marker. Similar to Deep Breathing.

Side Special: Releases a ball used from the Phrase Marker (Drag and follow the ball in the EBA game). The ball goes straight, rapidly damaging opponents and dragging them along, like Pushy Lloyd and Fire Orb. The ball moves fairly fast and disappears after a short distance.

Up Special: A Super Jump you’d see in a comic book where a character jumps extraordinarily high, turning into a blur during the jump only to land knees bent with one hand touching the ground. Like Rocket Jump, it meteor smashes opponents under them and like Wolf Flash, the agent moves in a steep diagonal direction before abruptly stopping, putting them into freefall.

Down Special: Summons a Spin Marker that slowly pulls in opponents for 3 seconds before disappearing. Must wait 10 seconds before recharging.

Floor Attack: Spins on their back and points legs out while getting up.

Trip Attack: Break-dance spin similar to Mario’s down smash

Ledge Attack: A sliding kick

Grab: Uses one hand to grab.

Pummel: Whacks with a microphone

Forward Throw: Tosses the opponent forward while quickly turning their head in other direction and back with their arm still extended, hand open.

Back Throw:

Down Throw:

Up Throw:

Final Smash (Music Lives): A cinematic trapping Final Smash that shows the people in the EBA universe dancing chanting “Music Lives!” in speech bubbles. Then all the agents (doesn’t matter what skin you’re using) all stylishly point at the sky where a beam of blue shoots up at the sky, blasting the opponent away. This references the final scene of “No More Music!? The Last Hope!!”.

Shield Break: Instead of having their bodies spin forwards on a 2-D plane, they actually spin their bodies as they do when the player misses a Marker in their game. Dizzy Animation: They spin their heads like they do when the player’s Elite-O-Meter reaches No or below.

Sleeping Animation: Falls asleep down on one knee. This references when the player fails a stage.

Taunts are just a series of short dances like Bayonetta, but shorter and can’t be canceled.

Palette Swaps are all the agents. They all act the same as the Koopalings. Agents are:

  • Agent Spin
  • Agent Morris
  • Agent Derek
  • Agent J (Is also a sticker in Brawl)
  • Agent Chieftain
  • Starr
  • Foxx
  • Missy

Note: The last 3 are the Elite Beat Divas who are all female

Onscreen Appearance: Flies in with the hovercraft vehicle they used at the end of the final episode

Victory Poses: 1) The agent proudly poses next to Commander Kahn as he gives an extended thumbs up while shouting "YEAH!" resembling when you beat an episode.

2) The agent stylishly says "Keep bringin' the singin', honey!" before doing a short dance. The speech references what the agents say at the final episode.

3) The agent jumps high, lands on one knee, looks up and says "Mission Complete" referencing when you beat an episode.

Music Tracks: Since nearly the whole OST is just covers of actual songs, the only track that can be remixed is the Title Screen menu.

Ace Attorney[]

Now, THIS is one of my favorite video game series next to Kirby. It's a visual novel game about lawyers and their wacky adventures. Of course, I'd totally recommend this game. Heck, my username was based on this series; I love it to death. I've got 3 representatives so far: Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, and Miles Edgeworth. If anybody who played Dual Destinies and/or Spirit of Justice asks "Where's Athena Cykes?", I didn't include her because I wanted old representatives who have been supporting the series for a long time now. Simply put, Apollo has more of an impact on the Ace Attorney series than Athena. Plus, creating a move set for lawyers (Yes, prosecutors are lawyers) who cannot fight is more fun. Athena seems to be experienced in fighting which makes it weird to give her an official move set of fighting moves that did not have inspiration from the games. With Phoenix, Apollo, and Edgeworth, they're more sophisticated in their line of work, so giving them a move set of them shoving evidence is fighter's faces represents the games pretty well. Of course, Ace Attorney does not JUST have bland ol' lawyers. No, these lawyers have powers, which would not only spice the gameplay, but their move sets as well. Before I start, I just want say that I do not have a move set for Phoenix...yet.

Phoenix Wright[]

TBA

Apollo Justice[]

Miles Edgeworth[]

MadWorld[]

For those who have seen the basis of Mad World, you might wonder "MadWorld?! No way Jack could ever get into Smash! His game is too bloody and violent, plus it's rated M for Mature!" Guess what? So is Bayonetta. Of course, since MadWorld is actually more mature than Bayonetta due to all the sex jokes, excessive gore, and cursing, I'm not actually saying Jack should be in Smash, but the dude has chainsaw attached to his arm. How is that not cool? And yes, I've played the game, but I never got past the first boss cause I sucked when I was 10 or something...

Funny enough, in the spiritual successor to MadWorld, Anarchy Reigns, Bayonetta is also a playable character in that game...I'm still shocked because not only did I learn a few days ago MadWorld had a sequel, but Jack and Bayonetta are also in the same game!?!?!?!

Jack Cayman[]

TBA since I have to play Anarchy Reigns...
