Skyward Slash Dash (ソードダッシュ) is one of Mii Swordfighter's Up Special Moves. The move is a series of sword slashes that travel in the direction input by the player. It is also known as Super Slash Dash.

Overview[]

Strengths:

  • Good kill move
  • Can be influenced in a specific direction by the player
  • Good for racking up damage

Weaknesses:

  • Kind of predictable, could be easily gimped
  • Starting lag makes it easy to interrupt and difficult to implement into combos

Skyward Slash Dash is a great move if a player wants more control over where they direct their recovery. The Skyward Slash Dash works similarly to Fire Fox in that in can be directed in any direction. This can make it predictable when recovering because a player will always direct it towards the stage, making it easy to gimp. The move also has a bit of start-up before launching in the input direction, once again in the fashion of the Fire Fox. This start-up can make the move easy to interrupt at the beginning and difficult to work into combos. If the move does manage to hit it can rack up some good damage on opponents and kill opponents near the ceiling.
