Reaperki

Reaper is an enemy from the Kid Icarus universe that appears as an enemy in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

In Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U

Like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Reapers are idle, walking around back and forth in a straight line. Upon spotting a player, an exclamation point appears on their head. Unlike the actual game where Reapers will actively pursue Pit, Reapers in Smash Run will stay still upon spotting the player. They will turn around to find the player. If the player is in front of the Reaper's view, it will swing it's scythe down on them for moderate damage.

8-bit music (different from the Orne's) plays when the Reaper is in a state of panic. Throughout the length of this music, Reapettes will enter the fray; while they don't deal much damage and can be killed in one hit, they can often trip players. If the Reaper spots the player but is quickly flinched, the 8-bit music will not play at all. Any Reapettes that are lingering on the screen will run away when the Reaper is killed.

Trophy Description

Reapertrophy3DS Since he's clearly not planning on doing any gardening, watch out for that scythe! You can tell when one of these has its sights set on you because the music will change and you'll hear a loud scream as it summons its Reapettes. If you always keep your distance and attack from afar, there's no need to fear the Reapers.

Trivia

  • If an Orne and a Reaper spawn nearby, if the Reaper spots the player, the music track the Reaper has will override the Orne's, even though the latter is much more dangerous.
