The Killer Eye is an Item announced in with the 241 released screenshots for Super Smash Bros. (Wii U and 3DS).

Overview

The Killer Eye holds up to 18 shots and deals 6% per shot. When thrown, it does not deal damage, but will cling to the ground or wall (if it is thrown against a wall) and start firing projectiles. Any player can attack it to change the direction it is facing. Interestingly, if it is facing the ground, it will "stand up" by itself. However, its shots can be absorbed via either PSI Magnet or Oil Panic.

In Super Smash Bros. (Wii U and 3DS)

The Killer Eye is an item that can be planted into the ground by the players. It will then fire bursts of energy in the direction it is facing, dealing 6% damage. It can be attacked by any player to fire in another direction, and can fire upwards, downwards, and to the side. It disappears after a while.

Trophy Description

A compact, user-friendly turret. Take the name literally--anything in front of it will be showered with a hail of lasers. Hitting one while it's deployed can change the direction it's firing in, but that doesn't mean it'll be on your side--this dependable little guy stays loyal to the fighter who deployed it.

Trivia

  • Oddly, it does not deal damage when thrown.
