This towering foe splits himself into small bits to move across the stage and wreak havoc. If you can get behind him, you can use him as a shield and also hit his eye more easily. Hit his eye enough and he'll explode! Try to get your opponents caught in the explosion to do some real damage!

- In Dr. Light's trophy, it states that Mega Man's true name is Mega. While this is true in the Mega Man 1 remake Mega Man: Powered Up (and Mega Man 11, which came out after SSBWU/3DS), his official name is actually Rock. This is corrected in the European version.
- Although Dr. Wily has a trophy on both the 3DS and Wii U versions, his pose is different between versions. His trophy is the only trophy besides the fighters' alternate trophies in Super Smash Bros. 4 to have different poses in both versions. Wily's 3DS trophy depicts his pose when surrendering at the endings of the original Mega Man games after being defeated, while his Wii U trophy is posed identically to his official Mega Man 9 artwork.
- Zero's trophy states that he appears in Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero. However, Zero's appearances in these two games are not identical to his trophy model, which is his model from Mega Man X2 onwards. In Mega Man X, Zero has spherical shoulders and lacks the Z-Saber. In the Mega Man Zero series, he and the Z-Saber have been completely redesigned.
- Roll's Trophy interestingly states her second appearance in Mega Man 2 although Roll is never seen or mentioned in any version of Mega Man 2 up until the Rockman Complete Works version of the game (as a Navi support). Roll would make a small cameo in Mega Man 3 (which this title states her name as DLN-002 "Roll").
