Elec Man (エレキマン, Erekiman) is a character from the Mega Man series. He is one of the six robots created by Dr. Light and reprogrammed by Dr. Wily for his evil ways. According to Keiji Inafune, Elec Man is his favorite Robot Master of the series.

Character Description[]

Elec Man first appeared in Mega Man in 1987. He was originally built by Dr. Light to work in nuclear power plants and regulate their voltage. However, Dr. Wily reprogrammed him for his own evil and selfish ways. Elec Man bears the colors red, yellow, and black. He has wristbands on each arm, and a lightning bolt on his chest. He wears a mask with another lightning bolt. He is also the quickest of the original six robots Dr. Light built, as well as the most powerful. He is capable of defeating Mega Man in less than three hits due to the high power of his Thunder Beam.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U[]

Elec Man is an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U during the April Super Smash Bros. Direct. He shoots his signature Thunder Beam in three directions. He also walks and jumps similarly to his battle in the first Mega Man game.
