The Eggrobo trophy.

Eggrobos are common enemies from Sonic the Hedgehog series, as being one of the Badniks created by Dr. Eggman.

Origin[]

These robotic henchmen debuted in Sonic & Knuckles as a common enemy at Sky Sanctuary Zone, where they were launched to certain areas from the uprising Death Egg. After they appear from the background, they float in one place rather than moving around by using the rocket booster on its back, and shoot a straight laser against the nearby enemy using their laser blasters.

A particular Eggrobo is also featured in Knuckles story in the same game, where it replaces Dr. Eggman during boss battles. This Eggrobo is lastly met before Knuckles fights the last boss, Mecha Sonic. The Eggrobo is seen carrying the Master Emerald, before being destroyed by Mecha Sonic.

In Super Smash Bros. for 3DS[]

Eggrobos appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as common enemies in Smash Run. Unlike the original games, Eggrobos now can move around while on flight, and aims its blaster to fire lasers at their targeted player or firing a thin and continuous beam that can pass through terrain.

Trophy Description[]

These robots are one of Dr. Eggman's creations from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, where they tend to hover in the air and shoot at Sonic with their laser guns. In this game, they'll deliberately keep their distance while firing both short and long beams at the fighters. Get below them to avoid their fire, and then strike!
